Florida bill of sale form for motor vehicle, trailer, or boat
In the state of Florida, it is required by law for the private sale of a used motor vehicle to fill out the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles bill of sale form – (form HSMV 82050). This document generally works as confirmation that a purchase and sale happened between two parties and serves as a record of the details of the transaction. Significant information such as: The seller’s and buyer’s names, description of a vehicle, price of sale, date, and signatures of everyone involved are all included in the form. This form covers not only the sale of a motor vehicle but also a vessel or mobile home. It also has a second function as a Notice of sale, which will be regarded by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to release liability from the former owner.
